As with most iPhone releases, Apple is anticipated to announce and launch the iPhone 16 lineup this fall.
Barring any delays, such as the one in 2020 when the iPhone 12 launched in October, it is highly likely that we will see the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models in September. Although things could change, this is our current expectation. Unless we hear otherwise, you can expect a September 2024 release date for Apple's next iPhones.
iPhone 16: Pricing
Although there were expectations for a price increase with the iPhone 15 lineup, it didn't happen except for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which now starts at $1,200 for the 256 GB version (the 128 GB variant is no longer available). This is the only model in the iPhone 15 lineup that experienced a "price increase," if you can call it that.
Component costs for the iPhone 15 have reached their highest levels for Apple, even though these increased production costs were absorbed. However, this might not be the case in 2024, so we could see a slight price increase for all iPhone 16 models.
