The latest Dell XPS 13 comes at a premium price point, similar to the MacBook Air M3. However, the previous generation XPS 13 offers compelling affordability. The XPS 13 Plus recently received a significant price reduction, now starting at $999 for an upgraded configuration with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It features a 13th generation Intel processor and boasts an impressive design.
The newer XPS 13 (9315), released in 2022, features a more conventional design but remains an attractive laptop, even thinner than the XPS 13 Plus. Its performance, however, is somewhat limited as it does not utilize a high-speed processor. The $599 model is enticing, while the $799 variant with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage offers robust specifications.
